Joanne Buday Shober

Joanne P (Buday) Shober, age 68, of Norwalk, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

She was born August 11, 1953 in Cumberland, MD to the late Joseph P. and Emma B. (Cook) Buday. She attended Fort Hill High School in Cumberland, MD. She worked at Kent Sporting Goods, IPC in Norwalk and Metokote in Sheffield. She loved being with her family and being in nature and the outdoors. She was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns and enjoyed sitting by campfires, loved all animals and was a free spirited individual. She was known to give her time and resources to anyone in need.

She is survived by children, Kelly Arbogast of Keyser, WV, Jenny (Matt Pierce) Herman of Three Forks, MT, Brian (Laurel) Shober of Norwalk and Ty (Nickole) Shober of Bellevue; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Donna (Larry) Davis of Paso Robles, CA, Linda (Sharon Gunderson) Vinson of Norwalk and Chuck (Vicki) Buday of Norwalk; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Joseph Buday in 2010.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Private interment will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be sent Huron County Dog Pound, Norwalk.
