Roosevelt "Spider" Webb

Roosevelt “Spider” Webb, age 80, of Norwalk, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

He was born May 22, 1941 in Grundy, Virginia and was a graduate of Wayland High School, KY. He retired from Boxboard Packaging in Norwalk with over 40 years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and family and attending gun shows, watching old western movies, hunting, fishing and his cat, Sam..

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jan Webb; children, David (Tammy) Webb of Norwalk and Shannon (James) Handy of Bellevue; grandchildren, Noel (Josh) Roeder, Rebekah (Mitchel) Lesch, Emily (James Rarden) Webb, Jacob (Telor) Ringer, Christian (Madyson) Ringer, Bethany Obermiller and Alexie Obermiller; great-grandchildren, Camden, Quilla, Aubrey, Stiles, Josey and Owen; siblings, Marilyn (Kenneth) Isaac of Wayland, KY and Melvin (Priscilla) Webb of Allen, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Webb; mother, Dixie (Crum) Webb; and step-mother, Mae Webb; siblings, George, Hobert, Alvin, Eunice, Evelyn, Anna Ruth, Oletta and Mary; step-brothers, Bill and Archie Greathouse.

Friends may call on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, February 19, 2022 in the funeral home with his son, David Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be sent to Huron County Humane Society, 246 Woodlawn Avenue, Norwalk, OH 44857.
