Clark Fisher

Clark E Fisher, age 94, of Norwalk, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022, at The Willows at Bellevue.
He was born June 30, 1927, in Norwalk, Ohio. He graduated from St. Paul High School in 1945. Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Upon discharge he returned home to work at the Norwalk Truck Line where he had also worked during high school. He met Eleanor Ruth Brown who also worked at the truck line and they were married on May 6, 1950.
He worked for the truck line until it closed and then joined Hart Advertising. Clark also had his own business, Clark Fisher Lettering, which he operated until he was almost 90. He lettered everything from truck fleets to buildings, airplanes, boats, billboards, professional office doors/signs and Christmas ornaments.
Clark was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Norwalk. He provided weekly bible studies for over 40 years for area nursing homes and private groups. He was always helping individuals in need.
He is survived by his daughters, Kathleen (Donald) Myers, Waterville, OH, Jacalyn (Stephen) Bleile, Sarasota, FL, Jean Fisher, Norwalk, OH, Lisa Fisher-Habryl, St. Petersburg, FL; sons, Mark (Juvi) Fisher, Trenton, OH and Andrew Fisher, Norwalk, OH; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Teresa Mohr, Norwalk; brother, Donald (Ginny) Fisher, Hereford, AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor R. (Brown) Fisher; son, Steven Anthony “Tony” Fisher; grandsons, Mitchell Bleile and Michael Fisher; parents Albert G. and Pearl I. (Crawford) Fisher; and brothers, Willard Fisher and Lyle Fisher.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery.
