Timothy Dale Caudill

Timothy Dale Caudill, age 63, of Delphi, died Sunday morning, January 23, 2022 at Gaymont Nursing Center after complications from Covid.

He was a lifelong resident of Delphi and graduated from South Central class of 1977. He was employed by MTD as a welder in the 1980’s and 90’s and received a Hero award from pulling a woman from a burning car in the 90’s. He was a drag racer at Norwalk Raceway and loved his cars. His favorite was a 1967 Chevelle SS. He enjoyed spending time with his family and to watch TV especially Sponge Bob and the Cleveland Browns, loved talking with people and earned him the nickname “jabber”. He enjoyed the outdoors and listening to Pink Floyd and classic rock.

He is survived by his kids, Brian Tim Caudill, Stefanie Wetherby; son-in-law, Mike Wetherby; daughter-in-law, Denise (Griffith) Caudill; grandkids that he loved spending time and playing with Kaelyn Wetherby, Blake Caudill, Allyson Wetherby, Brice Caudill, and Emmealyse Wetherby; brother, Darell (Barb) Caudill; sisters, Marietta (Mike) Gifford, Penny Sparks, Robin (Mike) Gowizka, Candi (Dave) Shepperd and Deanna (Gary) Music; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded by his parents, Ray E. Caudill and Naomi (Reed) Caudill; brother, Ronnie Caudill; and his sister, Christine Caudill.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date when the weather is nice. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
