Mary E. Poole

Mary E (Taylor) Poole, age 87, of Norwalk, passed away at her residence Tuesday, December 21, 2021 surrounded by her family.

She was born October 19, 1934 in Willard, OH to the late John Taylor Sr. and Victoria (Newton) Taylor. She worked many years at National Latex in Ashland, Fanny Farmers and retired from Freudenberg in Milan. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and enjoyed collecting recipes online, working crossword puzzles, crocheting, watching the Cleveland Browns and singing.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence T. Poole of Norwalk, to whom she married March 26, 1955; sons, Roderick A. Poole of Norwalk and Kim T. Poole of Golden Valley, MN; five grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; and her sister, Clara B. Durham of Willard; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Clementine Poole; brothers, John Taylor Jr. and Noah Taylor.

Friends may call on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
