Paul Breitigan

Paul T Breitigan, age 70, of Norwalk passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born November 26, 1951 in Norwalk. He served in the 101st Airborne Battalion of the US Army from 1968 until 1971 serving two tours in Vietnam. He worked at Fanny Farmers and was a truck driver with a million miles at Wikel Bulk Express for over 30 years. He was a member of the Milan Baptist Church and the Norwalk VFW Post 2743. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, watching NASCAR, football and attending races at the Norwalk Raceway Park.
He is survived by his mother, Lois (Nestor) Breitigan of Norwalk; children, Shane M. Breitigan of Lexington, OK and Stephanie M. Ringlein of Toledo; grandchildren, Christopher Breitigan, Mathew Ball, Krystal Simpson and Jennifer Simpson; and four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and his friend, Christine Turner of Norwalk; siblings, Barbara Babcock of Rising Sun and Wayne Breitigan of Norwalk.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Cheryl (O’Dell) Breitigan in 2007; and his father, Theodore Breitigan.
Friends may call on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:30 A.M. in the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk with Pastor Rod Hollen officiating. A luncheon will follow at the Milan Baptist Church.
