Todathon E. Wagner II

Todathon Eugene Wagner II, age 50, of Norwalk, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

He was born July 27, 1971 in Norwalk to Charlotte (Woodward) Wagner and the late Todathon E. Wagner. He was a 1989 graduate of Norwalk High School. He attended BGSU Firelands College and The Ohio State University. He was a 1994 graduate of Columbus State University with honors with a major in Law Enforcement. His career began in law enforcement, was a dog warden, and spent most of his years serving in the Huron County Sheriff’s Office and was a former Chief Deputy. He was a member of the Buckeye State Sheriff’s Association and OPBA, Norwalk Masonic Lodge, Norwalk Eagles Club and Norwalk Bronson Conservation Club.

He enjoyed working part-time in his younger years with J&D Motorsports in sales and was an assistant manager. His love for motorcycles and cars was apparent and had fun driving, repairing, and admiring them all. He was a former firearms instructor and enjoyed the outdoors. He was admired and respected by his peers and friends and had a quick wit about his personality.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kelli (Chapman) Wagner of Norwalk, to whom he married six months ago after 16 years of friendship; his mother, Charlotte (Woodward) Wagner of Norwalk; stepson, Spencer W. Patton of Norwalk and his daughter, Emma F. Patton; father and mother-in-law, William and Beverly Chapman of Plymouth; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Charles Woodward; and paternal grandparents, Mary and Eugene Wagner.

A celebration of life gathering will be held Monday, September 13, 2021, from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Private interment will be held at Milan Cemetery.
