James E. Horning

James Eugene Horning, age 79, of Norwalk, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Cleveland Metro Hospital after a battle with cancer.

He was born March 31, 1942, in Norwalk to the late Frehelm and Bertha Horning. He attended Townsend School and was farming most of his life. He worked at the FJ Boose and Sons Farm for many years and Burnham Orchards. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, canning, and gardening.

He is survived by his sister, Pauline Clark; nephews, Peter Clark and Robert (Tina) Clark; great-nephews, Peter (Katie) Clark, Josh Clark, Cody (Kazair) Augustine and Glen (Isabelle) Clark; great-nieces, Jennifer (Scott) Copeland and Shelby (Victor) Clark; and other nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Paul Horning.

Visitation for friends and family will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 10:30 A.M. until 12:00 P.M at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk, followed by a graveside service at 12:30 P.M. at Milan Cemetery.
