James Keegan

James Merlin Keegan, age 82, of Wakeman and formerly Norwalk, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 at Mill Manor Nursing Home in Vermilion.
He was born October 25, 1938 in Clyde, Ohio to the late Murlin and Edna (Mohn) Keegan. He worked as a supervisor at Ford Motor Co. for many years in Lorain and Louisville, KY. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, woodworking, and cooking.
He is survived by his daughters, Jackie (Mike) Mullins of Wakeman, Jeanine Carter of Villa Rica, GA and Lauri Hayes of Fairview Park; sons, Craig (Shannon) Keegan of Ashland and Jim (Erin) Keegan of Plymouth, MN; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Karen Eaken of NC; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Theresa Zilles.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Greenlawn Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
