Jared Welch

Jared Lee Welch, age 35, of Greenwich, passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening, June 26, 2021 at his residence.

He was born May 27, 1986 in Norwalk and was a 2004 graduate of Western Reserve High School. Jared loved animals and especially his dog, Goose. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, the outdoors and fishing. He could always be found tinkering with something and was genuinely loved by his family.

He is survived by his parents, Norman and Jeanette Welch; siblings, Keith (Jennifer) Welch and Jacquie Welch (Ramon) Hale; nieces and nephews, Broc, Emma, Eli, Blake, Chase, Nelson, Lily and Michael; his girlfriend of seven years, Mille Hyde; along with his uncles, aunts, cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norman and Audrey “Kaye” Welch and Sandra Hoffman.

A celebration of his life gathering will be held Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk, OH. Private interment will be held at a later date.

Jared worked for and with me on the demo of my house renovation. I called him J-rod because he was always in the “go”! I look around my house see him, his work, and things he had touched. Most of all he touched my heart with his laughter and smile. I will miss him. Peace be with you.

Jared was an extremely hard worker, dedicated to learning & getting things done & doing things to help those around him. He had a personality that people enjoyed being around, always very polite & well mannered, you know he was raised by good people. Jared was good people & he will be missed. RIP, you were gone much too soon
