Ilo “Nareen” MacDonald, age 93, of Milan, passed away Tuesday morning, June 8, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born April 16, 1928 in Celina, OH to the late Rudolph and Minnie (Bunting) Graham. She raised her family in Milan and was co-owner of a racehorse for many years with her late husband, Harry “Mac” MacDonald. She enjoyed spending time with her family and wintering in Teakwood Village, Largo, Florida. She was an avid doll collector and doll maker, and enjoyed gardening, crafting, and collecting jewelry.
She is survived by her grandsons, Doug (Paula) Ortman of Sandusky and Keith Ortman of Huron; six great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Linda Ortman of Norwalk; sister, Dorindal Taraschke of Norwalk; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, “Mac” in 1999; son, Donald Ortman in 2001; siblings, Evon Drake, Vivian “Pete” Leber and Beach Graham.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
