David Allen Terry

David Allen Terry, 78, of Norwalk, Ohio passed away May 27, 2021 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky, Ohio.
He was born September 13, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated Lawrenceburg High School in 1963. He worked at Shriners Burn Institute of Cincinnati where he met and fell in love with his wife. He also worked as a school bus and coach bus driver. Finally, he was a CDL Examiner of Ohio at Willard, Ohio, retiring in 2003.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Patricia E. Terry, who passed away December 23, 2020. He is survived by his children; Connie Terry of Salt Lick, Ky, Kathryn (Sean) Falter of Attica Ohio and Philip Terry of Norwalk Ohio; grandchildren; Joshua, Harmon, Douglas, Katelyn, Nathan, Sean Jr., Eva, Mason, Alex, Kelsie, and one great grandson Josh Jr.; also survived by his sister, Janet (John) Dougherty of Muncy, PA; and one nephew, Christopher of Lancaster, PA.
“Our father and grandfather was filled with laughter and joy. He inspired others to love, laugh, and live well. Our parents taught us faith from the time we were in diapers. They lived as they taught.”
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church, 60 W. Main Street, Norwalk with Pastor Brian Oglesbee officiating. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 P.M. the Marion Cemetery, Marion, OH.
