Patsy Lue Hamilton

Patsy “Pat” Lue (Carroll) Thompson Hamilton, 75 years of age, passed away at home in New London on Saturday, May 1, 2021, after lengthy health issues and succumbing to cancer.

Pat was born on June 6, 1945, to the late Raymond Sr. and Eva (Spencer) Carroll in Honaker, KY. She is 1 of 8 children moving to Ohio and growing up in the New London/ Wellington area, she lived her adult life in New London, Wellington, and surrounding areas. Working most of her life as a Nurse’s Assistant who cared for your loved one until she needed her loved ones to care for her.

She leaves us to cherish her loving memory, her children. She is survived by 4 out of 5 sons as follows: Randy (Marie), Timmy, Donny (Ashley) and Kevin Hamilton; 25 grandchildren, Ashley (Eric) Shepherd, Kaitlin (Colin), Dolin, Erin (Jered) Herb, Miranda Mosley, Kimberly, Patrick, Christina, Autumn, Kayla, Kassie, Hannah, Kylie, Summer “Kyle”, Sierra, Gavin, Dravin, Carissa, Bravin, Stormie, Kyson, Aydonn, and Kenzleigh Hamilton. Also, Andy Roe, Vada Howell, and Cora Garnett. Finally, 12 great-grandchildren. Also survived by 5 siblings out of 7: Verna (Scott) Lambert, Madlene Chavarria, Spencer Carroll, Phyliss Salmons, and Eddie Carroll.

She was preceded in death by her son, James “Jamie” Robert Thompson; parents, grandparents, and siblings, Raymond Jr. Carroll and Wanda Brown. Also, preceded by many family members, in-laws, and special niece, Darla Jones, and great-nephew Timmy Schaffer.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date with interment at Day Cemetery, New London. Arrangements entrusted to Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk Ohio.
