David L Service, age 78, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully Monday, April 19, 2021, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Dave was born on May 27, 1942, in Norwalk, Ohio. He graduated from Norwalk High School, class of 1960, then proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a die-hard Cleveland sports fan and loved watching the Browns and Indians. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed bowling in leagues for many years. He also loved to play chess…especially with his brother-in-law, Randy Herner. Above all, his favorite pastime was sitting on the front porch with Joni.

Dave was kind, caring, and funny. He lived for his family. He was a good man and will be deeply missed.
