Susan Balcerowski

Susan Balcerowski, age 78 passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness. She was born in Cleveland and attended Magnificat High School in Rocky River and Toledo University.
She married Don Yassanye in 1962 and owned Coffee Corner Restaurant in Norwalk for 23 years. In 1979, Susan moved on with her life goals and managed various restaurants. Eventually, Susan taught at EHOVE Career Center as the Culinary Arts and Hospitality instructor where she and her students achieved many prestigious awards. In 1984 she married Joseph Balcerowski. They enjoyed a full life of cooking, concerts and theater.
Susan is survived by her husband, Joseph, her daughter Laura (Ron) Van Rossum, her son Michael (Becky) Yassanye, her grandsons Jonathon (Jeff Snyder) Yassanye, Jared Yassanye.
