Tamara Perry
January 24, 2021
Tamara K Perry, 62, left this world peacefully on January 24, 2021 to join her brother, Todd, and her only daughter, Marie, on the other side. She is survived by her beloved son, Ross, and his fiancé, Tori, who she adored, as well as her brother Tab and his wife Lorie, and her brother Tom and his wife, Beverly, and a plethora of friends.
It was well known that you heard Tammy before laying eyes on her; a loud, contagious laugh that filled the room and was somehow passed to both Ross and Marie. A well-travelled woman from Vermilion, Tammy led her children to many corners of the world. From the beaches of Mexico to the Pyramids of Giza, to Stonehenge and the Taj Mahal. She stood by as her son pilfered a tiny piece of the Colosseum in Rome, and slept under a bug net with Marie in the Amazon. Travelling was her passion and she knew that it was the best gift that she could give her children. Tammy’s last wish was one final journey. Her ashes will be spread in her favorite place in Colorado, a secluded reservoir in the mountains, with the ashes of her favorite fallen pets, Putter and Tidus. She will take her final voyage down the waterways and into the Gulf of Mexico.
Though she wished for there to be no service, Ross urges you to grieve for his mother in your own way; light a candle, whisper a prayer, or spin the globe and see where your finger lands. I love you, Mom, and the journey continues. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
