I am deeply saddened to hear of Donald's passing. I knew Donald throughout our years growing up and we were college roommates at the University of Louisville. After graduation we lost touch. I had no idea of the extent and magnitude of his distinguished and honorary military career. We are all grateful for his service. I offer my deepest condolences to his family.

Very sad news. Donald remained one of my favorite persons even though we had not seen each other for 45 years. He was a fine man. I always respected the military service he gave.
