Daniel "Dan" West Jr.

Daniel “Dan” West Jr, age 43, of Norwalk passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 in Sandusky.

He was born January 18, 1977 in Norwalk and was a graduate of St. Paul High School. He obtained an Associate Degree in Political Science from BGSU Firelands, and was a volunteer for the Board of Elections. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan and enjoyed hunting and riding his Honda Gold Wing motorcycle, where he was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association.

He is survived by his mother, Susan E. (Pifer) West; daughter, Grace Kurtz of Mason, OH; siblings, Tamara West of Nashville, Krista (Bill) Boyd of Cleveland and Dylan (Kristen DeRan) West of Berea.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dan West Sr. in 2019; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A private service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.

My husband and I are so sorry to hear of Dan.s passing. What a humble servant of God an we will miss him dearly. He was one of the 1st people I met when moving up here. We rode together in CMA and enjoyed him on ole dollar. prayers for the entire family! God bless
