Marjorie Burras

Marjorie Ann Burras, age 77, of Norwalk, passed away Thursday morning, December 24, 2020 at Stein Hospice Care Center due to complication of Covid 19.
She was born October 5, 1943 in Norwalk to the late Lyle and Betty (Obermiller) Watson. She raised her two sons and was known as a great cook and baker. She and her husband, Bob owned and operated Burras Automotive in Olena, while traveling the entire United States and wintered in Texas for many years. In the 1970’s she worked as a waitress at the former Bee Hive Café in Olena. She was an avid listener of Elvis, 1950’s music, Alan Jackson and Country music. She enjoyed reading, talking, the outdoors, gardening and her flowers, camping, attending car shows, line dancing and square dancing. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Ron Burras and Larry (Cathy) Burras, both of Olena; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Barb (Paul) Miller of Norwalk and Linda (Ron) Mizuno of Hawaii.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Bob H. Burras in 2019; and her sister, Mary “Peggy” Chafee.
A private family service and interment at Olena Cemetery will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
