Barbara Sue Poland, age 80, of Huron, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020, at Admirals Pointe Nursing Home.
She was born April 15, 1940, to the late Robert and Doris Bess in Marietta, Ohio. She was a 1958 graduate of Norwalk High School. She worked at Cericon-ACMI for over twenty years. She was an avid reader and loved books. She was spontaneous with a quick wit and an awesome sense of humor. She enjoyed completing crossword puzzles and never missed an episode of Jeopardy. Above all, she loved her family and friends, who will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her children, Ronald (Marcia) Poland II of Huron and Bradley D. Poland of Norwalk; grandson, Ty C. Poland of Huron; sister, Beverly Kayatin of Huron.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. Poland I.
Burial will take place Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk at 2:30 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Norwalk Public Library, 46 West Main Street, Norwalk.
