Violet "Vi" Feyedelem

Violet “Vi” (Ward) Feyedelem, age 70, of Kelleys Island, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at Stein Hospice Care Center after a lengthy illness.

She was born April 22, 1950, in New London, OH to the late Valentine and Emily (Wooten) Ward. She was a graduate of Norwalk High School and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends on Kelleys Island, where she and Michael lived full-time for the last 20 years. She was most proud of her family and her business that she built and ran for almost two decades, Vi’s Island Treasures gift shop. She will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Feyedelem of Kelleys Island; sons, Michael Feyedelem (wife Jana) of San Diego and Christopher Feyedelem (wife Vickie) of Logan, Utah. She’s also survived by her grandchildren, Joseph of San Diego, Elise of Los Angeles, Jake, and Isaac of Logan, Utah. She is survived by her sister, Margaret Gregory, of Norwalk, and brother, Joe Ward, of North Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Clarence Ward and Thomas Ward.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 31, 2020, at 1 pm at Zion United Methodist Church on Kelleys Island. Masks and social distancing will be strongly encouraged.
