Marilyn Edwards

Marilyn E Edwards, age 71, of Norwalk, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020, at Gaymont Nursing Home.

She was born to the late Alexander Ross Sr. and Carol Martin on April 27, 1949 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She enjoyed drag racing, spending time with family, and reading.

She is survived by her son, Maurice (Amy) Edwards II; grandchildren, Madison, McKenzie, Molly, Mara, Alison and Brandon; sisters, Alexis (Doug) Barman, Denise (Gary) Gregory; brothers, Scott (Barb) Ross, Alex (Peggy) Ross Jr., and Joseph Ross and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Edwards; son, Sean Michael Edwards, and niece, Amy Jo (Ross) Robinson.

Friends may call Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 5-8 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A private service will be held. Attendees will be asked to wear face coverings and follow certain social distancing standards.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Huron County Humane Society, 246 Woodlawn Ave, Norwalk, OH 44857.

So sorry to read of Aunt Marilyn passing away. As a youth Marilyn & Maurice would hangout at Marie McCoy's house and Ronnie & I were both about 12 yrs. old. Although I never expressed how they both impacted my teenage yrs and helped to shape me as an adult. -Ken
