Peggy Chaffee

Mary “Peggy” M Chaffee, age 65, of Berlin Heights, passed away Friday, September 18, 2020 at her residence.
She was born October 14, 1954 in Norwalk to the late Lyle C. Watson and Dorothy A. (Henry) Watson. She spent most of her working life as a medical courier. She was an avid collector of anything related to bears and buttons. She loved spending time with her family. Her brother-in-law will miss Peggy’s nightly text, “I love you, snorkey snorkey”.
She is survived by her sons, Jim (Kris) Weinert and Jeremy Stone; grandsons, Jordan, Logan, and Braydan Weinert; sisters, Barbara (Paul) Miller, Marjorie Burras, and Linda (Ron) Mizuno.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandmother, Ruby “Mamra” Henry; and brother-in-law, Bob Burras.
Friends may Call Tuesday from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Attendees will be asked to wear a mask and follow certain safety and social distancing guidelines. A private family service will be held Wednesday with burial at Fitchville Cemetery.
