Elizabeth "Betty" Barman

Elizabeth May (Thoma) Barman, age 100, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Portland Place in Sandusky.
She was born November 6, 1919 in Norwalk to the late Edward and Lela (Miller) Thoma. She worked in Bellevue for 27 years at the local A&P Grocery. She enjoyed ceramics and beautiful paintings. She was an avid gardener and animal lover.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Virgil) Hahn of Sandusky; granddaughters, Tricia (Doug Combs) Baker and Tracy (Ronald) Lang, both of Norwalk; great-grandchildren, Chas (Jeremy Perez), Cortney (Gregory Spettle), Kyle Lang and Haleigh Skinner; great-great-grandchildren, Vincent and Adrienne. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Joanne Baker in 2018.
Friends may call on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 9:30 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk with Monsignor Kenneth Morman officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
