Renate G. Jones

Renate Gertrud Jones, 82 years young, left this life to enter the next chapter on Friday, May 28, 2020. She was born on March 15, 1938 in Bautzen, Germany.
She met her Army soldier and married him in Stuttgart, Germany and came to the United States in 1962; where she raised her family in Norwalk.
She was loving and strong willed and there was nothing she would not do for her children.
In the early years she rode her bicycle everywhere that was her transportation. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children Michael R. Jones of Norwalk, Tina Ruffing of North Fairfield, Annei (Jerry) Smith of Norwalk. Her grandchildren Alexis (Jackie) Ringlein, Joey Ringlein, Cheyanna Ruffing, Jessie Ruffing, Jessica Jones, Dakota Jones, and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter, Tiffany Ruffing in 2019, and her husband of 50 years, Olray Jones, in 2012.
At Renate’s request there will be no visitation service.
