Dennis L Schafer, age 63, of Norwalk, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at his residence.
He was born to the late Harold and Marjorie Schafer in Norwalk on June 3, 1953. He was a graduate of Monroeville and Ehove Career Center. He was a member of the Freedom Christian Fellowship Church. He worked on the family farm and was a hard worker. He had a deep love for his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Ann Schafer; children, Jenny (Scott) Pasenow, Roxanna Barnes, Benjamin Schafer, Jared (Christina Curtis) Schafer, Christina Schafer; grandchildren, RJ Morehart, Kayla Morehart, Natalie Barnes, Garrett Schafer, Gracie Schafer, Nicholas Schafer, Layla Schafer, Elijah Schafer, Lee McBride; siblings, Richard (Carol) Schafer, Donald (Susan Wright) Schafer, Robert (Sharon) Schafer, David (Barb) Schafer, Jerry (Denise Norman) Schafer, Sharon (Jim) Turner, Diane Schafer, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law Jason Barnes.
A private family service will be held. A drive by visitation will be held Thursday May 21, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E Main Street.
