Thomas R. Nickoli

Thomas R Nickoli, age 90, of Norwalk, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025, at his residence.
He was born August 28, 1935, in Norwalk to the late Lawrence and Gladys (Cox) Nickoli. He was a 1953 graduate and athlete of St. Paul High School and served as a lieutenant in the Army National Guard. He worked as a car salesman, mason and foreman at Lake Erie Construction formerly Paul E. Bleile Co. He enjoyed following all sports, woodworking and antique cars. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone.
He is survived by his children, Ron (Pam) Nickoli of Indianapolis, Debbie (Doug) Elmer of Norwalk, Cindy (Phil) Collins of Norwalk, Tim Nickoli of Norwalk, Patty Smith of Norwalk, and Becky (Dan) Molnar of Norwalk; grandchildren, Thom, Heather, Alicia, Chris, Matt, Josh, Shawn, Taylor, Corynne, Devin, Jennifer and Jake; greatgrandchildren, Brayden, Bella, Lee, Will, Jude, Molly, Evan, Owen, Amelia, Ethan, Olivia, Eli, Graysen, Mila; a great-great granddaughter, Murphy; siblings, Joan (Ralph) Holzmiller, David (Kathy) Nickoli, and Denny (Susan) Nickoli; and his sister-in-law, Sharen Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Marcia J. (Weidinger) Nickoli in 2013; and his son, Patrick; sons-in-law, Jim Bellamy and Mark Smith; brothers, Victor and Lawrence “Nick” Jr.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, October 3, 2025, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A funeral Mass will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, October 4, 2025, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Burial with military honors will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
