Nancy Elizabeth Black, age 79, of Norwalk, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Gaymont Nursing Center.
She was born January 10, 1946, in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Everett E. and Delsie C. (Kauffman) Singhose. She worked at Freudenburg-NOK, and retired after many years, and was an avid Steeler’s fan. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and the outdoors, enjoyed being on the water and taking cruises. She really liked the oatmeal cream pies from her favorite cook at Gaymont Nursing Center and was a member of the Norwalk Eagles Aerie #711.
She is survived by her children, Denise (Christopher) Marinik, Daniel (Kristy) Logan, Deanna (Christopher) Gallion, Ronald (Subrina) Logan, and Richard (Tracey) Logan; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Margie Kobert; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Black; brothers, Everett Singhose Jr., Charles Singhose and Robert Singhose; sisters, Delsie Wolfe, Olive Singhose, Jean Loudy, Judith Diamond, and Cheryl Ann Singhose.
A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
