John N. Dendinger Sr.

John Neil Dendinger Sr, age 73, of Norwalk, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born April 7, 1951, in Norwalk to the late James and Dorothy (Brophy) Dendinger. He served in the US Air Force, worked for Sheller Globe, Norbs Marathon, and retired after 31 years at Norwalk City Schools.
He is survived by his wife, Martha “Marti” A. Dendinger; sons, John “Jay” Neil Dendinger Jr. and James K. (Alicia) Dendinger; grandchildren, Issaic (Maddie) Dendinger, Makenna Dendinger, and Josalyn Dendinger; great-grandchildren, Brooks, Liam, Maylee, and Logan; siblings, James W. (Karen) Dendinger, Becky (Ron Music) O’Dell, and Cindy “Sissy” Dendinger; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Sherry Casper.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
