Janice "Jan" A Stevenson

Janice “Jan” Ann Stevenson, age 77, of North Fairfield, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Bellevue Care Center surrounded by her family.
She was born August 31, 1947, to the late William Codrington and Geraldine Hoyt. In her early years Jan wore many hats in addition to always being there for her children. She was a secretary for John Baird, worked at Daves Food Mart, and more recently delivered newspapers for the Norwalk Reflector.
Family was everything to Jan, and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, scratching lottery tickets, and playing on her computer.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Harley) Knudsen; and son, Alvin “Rick” (Katie) Stevenson; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mike (Aida) Hoyt, Pat (Tom) Matheson, Carol (Tom) Cammarn and Robin Hoyt.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, March, 8, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Private interment will be held at a later date.
