Sandra (Murray) Zeiter

Sandra Dee (Murray) Zeiter, age 63, of Norwalk, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born February 26, 1961, in Sandusky to the late John F. and Clara N. (Chill) Murray. She was a 1979 graduate of Western Reserve High School and was a lifelong avid reader. She worked at The Pharm in Sandusky, Food Town in Norwalk and retired after many years with Drug Mart in Norwalk. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Norwalk and was also a member of the Norwalk Eagles Aerie #711.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Harold M. Zeiter; children, Jennifer (Daniel) Rockwell of Norwalk, Christopher (Stephanie) Zeiter of Norwalk, and Stephanie (Tony) Valentine of Norwalk; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; siblings, Deacon John (Wendy) Murray of Monroeville, Mike Murray of Willard, Jacqui Murray of NC, and Sheila (Bob) Candow of Cleveland; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Scott Murray; and sister, Theresa Tang.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A funeral Mass will be held Friday, February 28, 2025, at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary, Mother the Redeemer Catholic Church, 38 W. League Street, Norwalk with Deacon John Murray and Fr. Valerian Larawa officiating. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park in Huron.
