Clyde Rossman
April 21, 2021

Clyde August Rossman, age 84, of Willard, passed away March 20, 2021 at Blossom Nursing Center.
He was born October 29, 1936 in New Washington and was a 1955 graduate of Chatfield High School. He was the only child of the late Sylvester and Margaret (Brown) Rossman. He married the love of his life, the late Helen (Roberts) Rossman on April 21, 1956, where they lived in Shelby until moving to Willard in 1963. He worked at Techform in Shelby for 31 years and then retired after 10 years with United Security at the MTD Plant in 2001. He was a past member of the Shelby Open Bible Church and attended the Guinea Corner Church of God.
He was an amazing human being and he devoted his whole life to his wife, Helen Rossman and dearly loved his children, grandchildren, family and friends. He found happiness no matter where he was and made many friends in the nursing home, where he resided, and never failed to wear a smile and say nice things. When Clyde was to be visited everyone knew it would be a long visit because of the love he shared and his stories. He liked to draw, color and paint, and watching the weather channel, which was always on in his room. He enjoyed hanging in the hallways with his neighbors, and enjoyed playing games especially when he would win candy or small gifts.
He is survived by his children, Terry Rossman and Clyde Rossman Jr.; his ex-daughters-in-law, Tierany Remen and Belinda Warren; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and niece, Robin Herndon.
May Clyde forever be remembered and we hope he is dancing with the angels and singing with the birds. All are invited to a graveside service at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Chaplain Mel Sayler will be officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
