Duane Grose

Duane Grose, age 68, of Norwalk, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Stein Hospice Care Center.

He was born November 26, 1952. Duane graduated from Western Reserve and attended Terra Tech. He worked for the City of Norwalk as a laborer, and from which he retired.

Duane was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed walks, hiking, camping, concerts, bowling, and cars. He was an avid race fan.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Teresa Grose; son, Matthew T. Grose; grandson, Matthew T. Grose Jr.; brother, Allen Grose; sisters, Melinda Hanson and Tina Bowens; father-in-law, Reyes Ibarra; sisters-in-law, Patty Ibarra, Melida Jones, Verneita Ibarra, and Diane Wilhelm; and brother-in-law, Miguel Ibarra; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Jr. and Dorothy Grose; sisters, Elaine Finley, Marcia Grose, Michelle Vartorella; brother, Terry Grose; mother in law, Joan Ibarra, niece, Shannon Roeder and Laura Barnhart.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio 44857.
