Garry Balduff

Garry F Balduff, age 67, of Norwalk, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

He was born March 20, 1953 in Sandusky to the late Edward and Agnes (Kromer) Balduff. He was the proud owner of Balduff’s Carpet Cleaning, which he started in 1980, now operated by his son, Brandon. He always gave credit for his success to his Norwalk Jaycee brothers. He was a former trustee at the United Methodist Church, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Norwalk. He was also a member of the Norwalk Elks and The Moose Lodge in Bradenton, FL. He enjoyed the game of golf and playing cards with his buds. He was especially proud of his son, Jason, who served in the US Marine Corps and Brandon, who followed in his footsteps.

He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie A. (Boucher) Balduff of Norwalk; sons, Brandon (Melissa) Balduff of Norwalk and Jason Balduff of Cleveland; grandchildren, Brianna, Tyler, Elyse, Tanner and Alaina; his great-grandchildren, Evelynn, Liam and Selah; siblings, twin Larry (Sheryl) Balduff of Castalia, Dick (Mary) Balduff of Sebring, FL, Ruth (Paul) Veleba of Castalia and his sister-in-law, Sherry Balduff of Sandusky; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother James Balduff.

Friends may call on Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Memorial contributions may be sent to the First Presbyterian Church, 21 Firelands Blvd, Norwalk, OH 44857 or one’s favorite charity.

A celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Presbyterian Church in Norwalk.

Marilyn and I will miss seeing Gary at all the grandkids school events. He always had away of making me laugh. Remind me that my best round of golf was playing with him. Thoughts and prayers are with Deb, Brandon and the family.
