Agnes Marie (Auble) Johns, age 96, of Colorado, went into the presence of the Lord March 15, 2020.

Agnes was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 22, 1923 to Frank and Gladys Auble. She married Homer C. Johns Jr. May 4, 1945.

She was a Navy nurse for a brief time and a military wife for thirty years, living in several states and in Japan. She worked as an operating room nurse on and off until retiring from Fisher-Titus Hospital in Norwalk, Ohio in 1985. She and her husband moved to Colorado after retirement to live near their three oldest children.

Her quick wit and servant heart will be missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her sister, Winifred Kulhman of Columbus; four children, Harry (Trish) Johns of Georgia, Sandra Klucsarits of Colorado, Dale (Alicia) Johns of Colorado and Karen (George) Kapitzky of Illinois; 16 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 64 years, Homer in 2009, daughter Lynne (18) 1979; her twin sister, Frances Wechter in 2018; and her brother, John Auble in 2017.

A graveside service will be held Monday, March 23, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Woodlawn Cemetery, 200 Woodlawn Avenue, Norwalk with Pastor James McClain officiating.

Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
