Marjorie Wallrabenstein

Marjorie Weilnau Wallrabenstein, 95, died Saturday, September 14, 2019, surrounded by family at her home where she resided for 62 years, the last 30 of which she lived independently.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Russell Wallrabenstein in 1989. Her parents, Jacob and Alma Weilnau; and both of her brothers, Gordon Weilnau and Marvin Weilnau also preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter, their spouses and five grandchildren: John D. Wallrabenstein and his wife Shirley Oney Wallrabenstein of Milan; James M. Wallrabenstein of Spokane, Wash.; and Laura Kay Wallrabenstein and her husband Tim Runion of Tiffin.

Her greatest pride and joy was her family, including the five grandchildren: John Ross Wallrabenstein, Ph.D., Staff Research Scientist at Analog Devices, Inc. of West Lafayette, Ind.; Kathryn Sarah Wallrabenstein, Esq., Criminal Defense Attorney at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP of Columbus; Emily Ann Wallrabenstein Runion, Intervention Specialist at Tiffin Columbian High School of Tiffin; Elizabeth Kay Wallrabenstein Runion, Medical Assistant at Tiffin Mercy Hospital of Tiffin; and Sarah Jane Wallrabenstein Runion, First Lieutenant and Brigade Adjutant in the U.S. Army, currently stationed at Fort Polk, La.

Evans Funeral Home in Norwalk has taken care of cremation. As she requested, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
