Debbie Hillman

Deborah “Debbie” Hillman, age 58, of Norwalk, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Stein Hospice Care Center.

She was born August 15, 1960 in Norwalk and was a 1978 graduate of Norwalk High School. She worked 27 years in banking at the former Huron County Bank, National City Bank and PNC. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, mowing the yard, crafts, snowmobiling and camping. She was also a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Thomas Hillman of Norwalk; children, Loren (Brandon) Schild of Norwalk and Derrick (Ashley) Hillman of Norwalk; grandchildren, Sawyer and Sutton Hillman and Elsie and Olsen Schild; mother, Carol Hamisfar of Norwalk; sisters, Sandy (Scott) Plew of Norwalk and Andrea (Bob) Gravenhorst of Monroeville; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Hamisfar in 1992.

Friends may call Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 A.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk with Pastor Eric Schild officiating. A luncheon will follow at St. Peter Lutheran Church. Private interment will be held at Olena Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
