Christopher Smith

Christopher T Smith, age 48, of Norwalk, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at his residence.

He was born September 27, 1970 in Sandusky and was a 1988 graduate of St. Paul High School. He worked over 10 years at Wasiniak Construction and 17 years with Walcher and Fox. He was a lifelong resident of Norwalk and enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He also enjoyed playing the guitar with his brother, and watching movies.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy (Jay) Thornhill of Huron; brother, Robert Patrick Smith of Norwalk; nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father in 1993, Thomas Smith; paternal great-grandmother, Lena Heitsche; paternal grandparents, Robert and Helen Smith; aunts, Barbara Kohlmeyer and Peggy McAllister-Pollotta; and other aunts, uncles and cousins.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
