Susan Marlene Kirk, age 69, of Norwalk, passed away Friday evening, October 26, 2018 with her family at her side.

She was born February 22, 1949 in Norwalk to the late Paul and Jean (McClain) Timman. She retired from Gyrus ACMI after 27 years of service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and American Legion. She enjoyed playing euchre, working in her yard, traveling to casinos and especially enjoyed watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Amy (Maurice) Edwards, Gregory (Becky) Spettle, Randy J. (Susie) Spettle, Cindy Schaffer, Tammy Blareck, Julie Ojeda and Shawn (Brian) Kirk ; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and her sister, Marilyn (Gerald) Gill; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Kirk Jr. in 2008; and her brother, Tom D. Timman; and aunt, Mary Smith.

Private interment will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
