Norman E. Barber

Norman E Barber, age 40, of Norwalk, passed away Thursday evening, April 12, 2018 at Stein Hospice Care Center after an extended battle with Cancer.

He was born April 4, 1978 in Norwalk and was a 1996 graduate of Norwalk High School. He attended The Ohio State University and graduated from Owens Community College in Perrysburg. He was a computer programmer and worked at Safeguard Properties in Brooklyn, OH. He enjoyed spending time, riding bikes and going to Cedar Point with his daughter, Mylea and attending concerts with his sister, Holly. He was an avid computer programmer, enjoyed reading, music and was a fan of the Cleveland Browns.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Lynn Barber of Norwalk; daughter, Mylea R. Barber of Norwalk; sister, Holly L. Barber of Perrysburg; aunts, Jackie and Barb; uncle, Bill; and cousin, Colleen.

He was preceded in death by his father, Norman G. Barber in 2012.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A private graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the family for a fund for his daughter, Mylea.
