Juliette McIntyre

Juliette R (Lavoie) McIntyre, age 100, of Norwalk, surrendered to the promises of God on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Gaymont Nursing Center.

She was born July 8, 1917 in Lawrence, Massachusetts to the late Hermenegilde and Louise (Deuteuil) Lavoie. She was a 1934 graduate of Montrel High School and moved to Wakeman, Ohio in 1952. She was a member for many years of the Vermilion VFW Auxiliary, Norwalk Moose Lodge and Wakeman St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son, William J. (Mary) Lavoie of Charleston, SC; grandson, David Diewald of Sheffield Twp; great-grandchildren, Seth Diewald of Nova and Rebecca Schmidt of Elyria; great-great grandsons, Wily, Edward and David; Sister, Theresa Demers of Granite Bay, CA; daughters-in-law, Janet Diewald of Elyria and Toni Lavoie of Scottsdale, AZ; Stepchildren, Shelle Miller of Sandusky and Michael McIntyre of Norwalk; step granddaughters, Diane Miller of Perrysburg and Jennifer King of Medina; step grandsons, Andrew Miller of Sandusky, Brock McIntyre of Norwalk and Nathan McIntyre of Monroeville; step great grandsons, Cael and Levi Miller and Miles King; step-great granddaughters, Julie and Claire King and Rhylie McIntyre; and numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dell McIntyre in 2002; sons, David Lavoie and Lionel Lavoie; siblings, Pauline Gerard, Ajatol Lavoie, Adrian Lavoie, Marcel Lavoie, Denis Lavoie, Lionel Lavoie and Albert Lavoi.

There will be no visitation or services. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.

Very sorry to hear on the passing of Aunt Julie. We remember fondly the times at Uncle Dells and Julie’s and the times at Tater Hill. Aunt Julie and Uncle Dell are now reunited forever.
