Richard “Ricky” Ronald Schoewe, age 18, of Norwalk, died peacefully at home with his family at his side Tuesday, October 24, 2017.

He was born April 11, 1999 in Sandusky. He enjoyed spending time with his brothers and sisters, and in return they loved their time with him playing ball, watching scary movies and reading books. He especially enjoyed when Audrey invited him to EHOVE Prom in 2016, math with Aiedan, sharing pictures with Chloie and Haylee, singing songs with Scarlett and Noelle, and goal setting with Sophie, where she always kept him on task, Collin and his “surprises” and Sydney and her soccer. He attended the North Point Educational Center and was a senior at Edison High School.

He is survived by his parents, Edward and Tania M. (Skrepich) Schoewe Jr. of Norwalk; siblings, Collin (Allyson Dean) Clark, Audrey Clark, Sydney Clark, Sophie Clark, Aiedan Clark, Chloie Clark, Haylee Byrd, Scarlett Schoewe and Noelle Schoewe; maternal grandmother, Edna “Dee” Kossman; paternal grandmother, Anna Schoewe; great-grandfather, John Kinn; aunts & uncles, Paul Schoewe, Kathy Schoewe, Sarah Skrepich and Sandra Farnsworth; and a great-grandmother, Margaret Skrepich; God parents, Gina Jenkins and Ray Van Cauwenbergh; and Kyleen Finlay.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherry Lee (Kossman) Schoewe in 2008; uncle, Michael A. Schoewe; paternal grandfather, Edward Schoewe Sr.; and maternal grandfather, Ronald Kossman; great-grandfather, Quintin P. Schoewe; grandparents, Joseph Jr. “Dale” and Patricia Skrepich; great grandfather, Joseph Skrepich Sr.; and great grandparents, Otto and Gertrude Klingshirn.

Friends may call on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter Catholic Church, Huron. The Rev. Jeff McBeth will officiate, where a luncheon will follow.
