Kevin J. Kiser

February 21, 2017

Kevin James Kiser, age 44, of Indianapolis, IN and formerly of Milan, passed away quietly at his brother’s home on February 21st 2017.

He was born September 24, 1972, son of Margaret Kiser and Wayne (Ellen) Kiser, of Norwalk. Kevin was a 1990 graduate of Edison High School, and a longtime employee of Sprint as an IT technician. He spent most of his adult life in the Indianapolis area where he loved to travel when his career allowed. He also enjoyed working with numerous local performance groups to include, Indy Historical Society, Booth Tarkington Civic Theater, Footlite Musical Productions, The Belfry, Wayne Township Community Theater, and Bobdirex productions. Kevin's lifelong passion for music allowed him many opportunities to share his gifting, as a much sought after pianist, composer and arranger. Kevin was a reluctant performer, never wanting the spotlight, preferring to be in the pit, or as a self proclaimed "accompanist"....yet he was so much more. His talent was only eclipsed by his own inability to see how truly great he really was, and he will forever be missed.

He is survived by his stepdaughter, Teeghan Doherty of Indiana; and his siblings, Keith Kiser of Amherst, Danielle Cantrill of Collins, Zorana Hales of Nova and Raynelle Reynolds of Grafton; nine nieces and nephews, as well as many extended family members.

Per Kevin's wishes there will be no viewing or memorial services at this time. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to: Kevin Kiser Memorial Fund c/o Margaret Kiser, Civista Bank
36 E Seminary St. Norwalk, Oh 44857

Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
